Personal Statement/Background

I have worked with numerous students over the years and they all have been wonderful. Working with students from the age of 5-50 has been so rewarding. I believe that music is very important in a person's life, and teaching music allows me to bring enjoyment to other's lives. I teach my students to be musicians who play the guitar, as opposed to just guitarists. My students will be able to transfer all they have learned to various instruments and numerous styles of music.

Education

Piano/learned to read music- age 3 viola- 6th grade to sophomore in college guitar- age 8 to present. Private guitar instruction from professional jazz/classical guitarist Terry Scott. College level music education.
