Personal Statement/Background

I have been teaching piano, voice and guitar for 5+ years, teaching all styles and levels, and every age from age 5 to age 83! I try very hard to cater to each student's individual needs and tastes as a musician and above all - to have fun! I also love to work expressly with singer-songwriters, to help with song forms, melodic structure, and to flesh out ideas both lyrically and musically. I am a member of the West Coast Songwriters Association, SongsAlive! and I have co-written with many of my students along the way.
